Review : My 4th tricycle and Kettler is superior in every way
I have bought four tricycles the last couple years and this one is superior in many ways. It's made in Germany and it shows. The design is super simple and very clever.
The front half and back half of the frame have four bolt together positions in addition to the seat adjustment of four positions (8 positions). This translates into a tricycle for a two year old that will also meet the needs of a four year old. The ergonomics and weight distribution are well thought out in this design.
The seat is 1" (about 10%) lower than a Radio Flyer Fold n' go which is much better for my 2 year old (and safer due to lower center of gravity) and coupled with the wider rear wheel spacing produces a more rideable safer tricycle. I bought the radio flyer because it seemed to be smaller and I wanted my kids on wheels sooner than later. The fold n' go is a pretty sad design in comparison to this tricycle.
